HARIO V60 Metal Dripper Matte Black <02 size>

The metal filter cone of the V60 highlights the flavor-enhancing ribbing and aesthetic elegance of HARIO’s exquisite, hand-pour coffee dripper.

Created and crafted in Japan, the V60 has become a go-to dripper design for leading baristas in many of the world's most popular pour-over coffee shops.

The ridges also form insulating air channels which help to maintain an even brewing temperature within the filter. The single hole at the bottom of the cone allows the character of the brew to be finely tuned by the speed of the pour.

About Hario

The name Hario originated from the combination of the Japanese word hari (玻璃) or glass and o (王) or king, combined formed the meaning the King of Glass. A brand with more than 100 years of experience under it's belt started in 1921 as a laboratory glassware seller and manufacturer in Tokyo, Japan. Using their heatproof glassware and glass processing techniques, Hario started creating coffee siphons in 1948. Later on they expanded to creating their well loved home products from other materials. They are now a household name among coffee brewing enthusiasts.

Metal V60 holder is even better

The metal V60 looks good and brews very well. I have a older glass V60 which works well enough, but this one works better on top of my tall Thermos bottle. The combination of metal sidewalls and somewhat flexible silicone rubber holder allows the outlet to sit on top of the narrow mouth opening without being wobbly. It is not possible to use the glass V60 on this same Thermos without removing the plastic holder base, which then means handling a hot glass dripper with bare hands once finished brewing. Making this is a more flexible brewer.

Enjoy brewing with this matte V60 dripper.

Given the material, the heat retention is better and not afraid it is broken when dropped. Enjoy brewing with this and looks good in photos too.
