We are happy to share with you this year’s amazing Pacamara coffee from Chalatenango area.
This is our annual purchase of Salvadoran coffee via COYOTE, our neighbor and good friend in Kyoto.
Rene Aguilar san, the producer, has been growing coffee in the area for over 30 years, while contributing to the local coffee industry not only through the production but also sharing knowledge, experiences, and seeds with fellow producers.
The Pacamara coffee Rene-san grows has a vibrant citrusy acidity accompanied with a substantial sweetness reminiscent of raisins and dried cherries, with overall elegant feel to the cup.
We are also excited to announce that we will also be serving this coffee at our cafes as an official partner with the Embassy of El Salvador in Japan, as a part of their project “El Salvador Pacamara Week 2025 (3/23-30).”
We’d say this lot is a great example of the fine quality of the Salvadoran coffee throughout its history- only available in limited amount, so try it out while it lasts!
